Mine does that too, especially in the morning! Must be instinct.
My Toby does that, if he gets there first then he grumps about moving!
Before she got too old to jump in there, my Bows would jump right into my Lazyboy as soon as I was two steps away. Then she’d complain if I made her get up.
mine dies that too!
