BuddiesThis is Sadie one of the “timid” shelties rescued from Buxton Puppy Mill…

Sadie came in from a walk and noticed her cat friend Simon was laying on her blanket…and before taking off her leash she jumped up next to him to take a nap. Later she let him lick her ears… what’s next a massage??

Hooray for Sadie and Simon… they’re best buddies!

Put him on the payroll Marsha!  :)

  1. Yes, Sadie still has a few issues but thankfully her new owner is kind enough to ignore them and help build her confidence. She runs from rustling newspaper, fearful of broom & shovel, hides under owners legs when startled so we’ve nicknamed her “Velcro pup”.
But yes, she’s sweet and darling especially when she snuggles with her new friend Simon the cat! Such an improvement from a year ago…she’s slowly progressing and learning to trust. A real beauty!
Good luck with your new rescue!

  2. That is so cute. We have a 8-9 year old rescue sheltie from the Buxton puppy mill. He came to us about 10 months ago. He was placed and then given up again. He has come a long way with more to go. Sadie seems to making progress. She’s adorable and very happy to have a home with you.

  5. I do believe that Sadie is now feeling self-assured enough and is REclaiming her blankie! Sending rubs & kisses to Sadie!
