I adopted a bi-black sheltie named Chloe, in 2006, she was with”child” but we didn’t know it. She to was timid, and because shelties are herders her owner was going to shoot her for “herding” his horses. My daughter knew the people who were neighbors to the owners and asked if she could bring her to us. I took her and she had 4 beautiful puppies, and after 6 weeks we adopted out all 4 within 2 days time. She is not as timid now and she and my sable boy Rascal are the best of friends
