For the Love of the Shetland Sheepdog
That is how I was first introduced to shelties. My neighbor growing up was a High School Teacher and wasn’t able to be home till late every night during the school year. So she asked me if I would dog sit for her every day after school. And being a young girl of course I was more than OK with spending time with a dog. Peaches was her name and she was sable in color. She was used in show and was 5 yrs old when she got her. She was such a wonderful little dog.. so full of energy.. so willing to cuddle. Later in life I got my own sheltie, a blue merle.. and that started it all for me =)
