From the Sheltie Farmer’s Almanac
The crossing of the paws indicates 6 more weeks of winter.

Hugs to you Deb for adopting her!

That is so cute. Alot better then the groundhog.
I agree. It should be sheltie day instead of groundhog day. Yankee is gorgeous. Love that pose :)
“I make this lighthouse look good.”
What a sweet face and cute pose!!
Our Shelties are far more happy with winter than we are by now. Yankee is beautiful and so dignified with those elegantly crossed paws. That is a gorgeous setting for her too.
Yankee looks so wise and confident, I’d believe anything he says!
She sure looks majestic posing there. I wonder what she is keeping an eye on…LOL…
She looks just like my Charlie! I love the weather predicting abilities. They would probably be happy with winter all year long!
Beautiful area and most beautiful Sheltie, wonderful name!
Yankee is our Sadie’s mom. She has been adopted by a wonderful family that loves her dearly. She is lucky to have found them. Our little girl is a gem too, must be like her Mom.
All that I can say is just “beautiful”!
Hilarious post and a truly lovely dog.
