Owche Cute!

Little Dodger sleeps after a hard day of hobbling around on his cast.   As you can see by the the dirty stub, he is getting along so well now.

It’s just the cutest sound in the world hearing him rush down the hall to get to his crate for his “I went potty outside treat”!  paw paw thump paw paw thump…but its faster than you can even say it!

Glad the little man is feeling better Mary!

  1. Awww…. We recently adopted a sable male who had a major fracture in his rear femur. Three surgeries and a cast up to his hip. He is now going through rehab (physical therapy including walking on a treadmill that is submerged under warm water at the most amazing facility) and is doing great. Rehab is crazy expensive, but they really deserve the chance to get their muscles and tendons repaired so they can grow up to have healthy spines. I highly recommend veterinary rehab if you can find a facility in your area.

  2. Sweetheart Dodger, so glad to hear you are doing so well. Hope you heal really fast, honey. Reminds me of when my sweet soulmate Bonnie had to have a cast on her leg. I remember her so well coming down the hall with the Doctor with it on and how cute and yet kind of “poor baby” at the same time to me. She sure didn’t know what to do with it at first. Bless their wonderful little hearts.

  3. Feel better Dodger!!! I love the description – I can completely hear the “paw paw thump” in my head. :)

  4. POOR BABY. MY GRACIE-SCARLETT BROKE HER LEG WHEN SHE WAS JUST 4 1/2 MONTHS OLD ! SHE HAD MAJOR SURGERY WITH PINS AND SCREWS IN HER LEG. SO SAD TO SEE HE HOBBLING AROUND IN HER CAST BUT THE DOC DID A FANTASTIC JOB-BEEN ALMOST 5 YEARS SINCE IT HAPPENED AND YOU CANNOT TELL WHICH LEG WAS BROKEN. HOPE LITTLE DODGER RECOVERS QUICKLY AND PERFECTLY !!!

  5. I don’t know what happen to him :(
