Good call rapha’s mom. I was hiding on the left between the pillars telling him “Stay,Good Boy.” Then my husband took the photo.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments. We both love photography, being outside and Shelties. So we really enjoy the “Whats New” photos showing up in my mail.
No matter how tough the day a new Sheltie photo makes it easier to deal with!
BUDDY IS A MAGNIFICENTLY REGAL SHELTIE AGAINST A GORGEOUS BACKDROP. AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF A SHELTIE AND NATURE AT THEIR BEST. A PICTURE FOR THE AGES !
I live about 35-40 minutes from Lake George. It sure is a beautiful area, although Crissie, my Sheltie, feels it has way too much water. Now, my golden, Jamie, thinks Crissie is weird and loves to run out of the water, jump on her and push her into the sand. Poooor Crissie…she not only gets all dirty, she gets wet as well!
Great shot! He looks so regal.
Yep – MY Buddy and I wish we were there! Beautiful!
The sheltie ears are perked to hear all the wonderful sounds.
Beautiful shot! He looks so peaceful and content.

Beautifull, the Sheltie and the scenery…….
Wonderful pic. And brings back memories. Spent every summer with my parents in Lake George.
