What is it w/Shelties & shoes? My Scarlett used to sleep w/her head inside everyone’s shoes when she was a puppy. Probably good & stinky & a good place to take in her new family’s smells!
SHELTIES MUST HAVE A THING ABOUT SHOES. MY GRACIE-SCARLETT ALWAYS GOES TO MY SHOES TO SNIFF, LICK (!) THEM OR LAY BY THEM. BUT THE SECRET IS, WHEN SHE CAN DO THAT TO MY SHOES, SHE KNOWS I AM HOME & NOT GOING ANYWHERE. BUT WHEN SHE WATCHES ME PUT ON MY SHOES, ALL SHE LOOKS AT ARE MY SHOES BECAUSE SHE KNOWS I AM LEAVING THE HOUSE – THEN SHE POUTS ! DON’T TELL ME SHELTIES ARE NOT SMART ! BACCA IS TELLING HER/HIS OWNER “PLEASE DON’T GO “.

They are so smart! My sheltie sleeps on my shoes often! Attempting to keep us home with them!

Oh, how cute….Watch out for the socks. I found out my Misty ate one of mine when she threw it up later whole so now, no socks left on the floor anymore.
