How adorable! I have one who sleeps like that, too. Of all my Shelties over the past 25 or so years, though, I’ve only had a handful who like to lie that way. :)
Fillie sleeps like that almost every night – it’s her “I trust I am safe and can really sleep” position! The picture was taken just before we had her groomed – she really likes like a mop in the picture! We love her so much – she’s a retired show dog and really loves being lazy!

I wake up to my Sheltie Maggie sleeping like that. They are silly dogs but that is why we love them.
