  1. Zebe is a Beautiful boy and he looks so happy cooling off! My Chloe loves the water, sprinkler, lake or pool doesn’t matter, she walks the rim of above ground pools; sometimes she ends up in the water – sometimes she ends up on the ground – the other two run the other way.

  2. Isn’t it funny how some like water and others are truly horrified by it?
Our Shadow went “up to his skirts” quite by accident in Tampa Bay last winter (I think the picture was posted here), but only because he got distracted by chasing a stick — and when he figured out where he was, he FROZE, very unhappy.
Shadow’s take on water: Baths? Please, no. Showers? Absolutely not. Hoses? Sometimes, but not too much. Licking his folks fresh out of the shower? Nirvana! — (and we wonder why … don’t you?).
Zebe is a real beauty. Shadow hopes he gets some snow to play in this winter. Shadow hopes ALL Shelties can play in the snow!

  3. My baby, Lady, loves water. First time she saw Lake Louise, Canada, she got all dreamy eyed and jumped in. If she hadn’t been on a long leash, we’d have never seen her again.

  4. zebe is one good sheltie ! mine can tolerate a bath but to do this, no way !!!!! yet when I get wet even from a shower, she wants to lick me to death ! zebe knows how to cool off – beautiful coloring/markings on zebe.

  5. sure wish I could get my sheltie boys to wade, but it’s a big accomplishment just to get their front paws wet! Zebe is a smart and handsome boy!

  6. Good Man
I can’t even tempt mine in, I have to carry them out and then do the old drop.

  7. I like to say that they wade in up to the bottom of their “skirts.” :-)
