    Teddy is a very handsome man, thank you Julie. I echo everyone elses sentiments for the day and will add to please be careful of the furbabies feelings. They may love us as their humans, but when all the festivities start . . . not so much. They just try to figure out how to make it all go away and that is not always a good thing. Just please be careful and watchful of the furbabies tonight.

    Two of my favorite things-Shelties & American flags! Happy 4th to all my sheltienation friends.

    We’ll be keeping our two Shelties inside as much as possible today & all weekend, Forrest is terrified of fireworks & Roxie’s not too keen on them either. Forrest has been trying to bolt when the big booms go off so he won’t be outside unattended when the fireworks are going. He goes unhinged, poor guy.

      We’ll be keeping Teddy in tonight too…! Us sheltie owners all understand what this is all about :)

    “O say can you see by the dawn’s early light,
    What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,
    Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
    O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
    And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
    Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
    O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
    O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”
