Sheltie Nation

I hear Nat King Cole

“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose”

14 year old Lilly knows sleeping by the fire and tree was the spot to be!

How lovely, John!

  3. Isn’t this just the coziest scene? Who wouldn’t enjoy snuggling up with Lily under that tree! She’s one smart girl, alright!

  4. This would make a GREAT Christmas card, beautiful surroundings, Lilly just adds ambience. Aw-w-w John, what a lovely little soul your senior appears to be, just look at that sweet face. 14 years young, wow John, that says you did everything right and your beautiful little heart dog has reaped all the benefit’s, this Christmas season please give her an extra hug for me. Merry Christmas.

  5. Lilly is such a lovely “gal of a certain age.” She’s so elegant and looks so content. My first sheltie was a puppy mill girl and my 2nd & 3rd shelties were sisters from a bad back-yard breeder. I lost all 3 of them at 10 years.
I wish us all the great privilege and joy of sharing our lives for at least as long as Lilly & John are.

  6. Love is picture. It almost looks like a painting.

  7. Oh that has to be one of the loveliest holiday photos I’ve seen! Treasure every minute you have with your sweet Lily :)

  8. What a wonderful image… if that can not warm your heart nothing can!

We all want our shelties to have a safe warm and loving home and Lilly is living the good life for sure.

At 14 she looks wonderful and we know John makes sure she has everything she needs including that indoor tree!

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful image with us… it could make a great Christmas card! Enjoy the holidays with your special girl! Give her a big hug and kiss… and a cookie too!

  9. Lily looks so content, great picture!
