Jenny is a spunky 10 year old who came to NJ Sheltie Rescue in August via the Lancaster Humane Society. At that time she was quite chubby jenny-rescue-sheltie2from improper diet and needed TLC to get her coat and teeth back in condition. She was given the proper update on shots, had a much needed dental cleaning.

As of November she has lost quite a bit of weight (12 pounds !!) is getting her girlish figure back and her coat is absolutely gorgeous. There’s nothing “old” about this girl. She loves playing fetch with her favorite ducky toy and enjoys walks around the neighborhood. A total love muffin, she greets everyone with a tail wag and smile. The only time she gets upset and barks on leash is when people “leave” — either by walking away after petting/fussing over her or when they drive away from their house.

jenny-rescue-sheltie1Jenny does have a jealous, alpha personality and must be an only pet in her new home.

Applications are available at www.njsheltierescue.org.  Applicants must be within a 75 mile radius of Mt. Laurel, NJ where Jenny is being fostered (zip code 08054).

A very sweet-sounding girl! Ten is not that old for a Sheltie. I hope someone sees past the number SOON and adopts this lovely little lady.

Look at that sweet little face, she may be a little senior but it doesn’t look like little Miss Jenny lets too much grass grow under her paws. She just got a svelte new figure and she needs to pick out her new forever home so the exercise can start so she can keep that hew figure. Good luck sweet baby, it won’t be long!
