WHO Had A Good Day? WHO Did? YOU Did!

This is my sweet sheltie Champ! He was diagnosed with a nasal tumor and had radiation, he was doing really well and then unfortunately 6 months later had a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At this point we are keeping him comfortable, loving him, enjoying every moment and spoiling him while we can! He truly is a sweet dog and the 23rd was his 11 1/2 birthday so what better way to celebrate than with a yummy cake! Champ and his Sheltie siblings loved it!

  1. Thanks for sharing. My Sheltie at in April had the exact same symptoms in the reverse order. He had a seizure and 4 months later he started with the nosebleeds. He’s 14. Like you, we are spoiling him and loving him every day.

    • I am sorry you are going through this as well. Sending prayers and best wishes your way! Let’s keep spoiling and loving our sweet boys!

  2. Well, have a happy 12 1/2 birthday, little sweet Champ. I know you are loved an awful lot and wish you all the best times with your dear family for a really long time. Enjoy that cake! It looks yummy enough for all of us to have a tiny bite, but we’ll leave most of it for you. I know you deserve it. God Bless and keep you well for a long, long time. Hugs and kisses, honey.

  3. So sorry to hear about Champ’s troubles, just love him as hard as you can for as long as you can. Such a sweet, sweet face. Hugs to you during this difficult time.

  4. I bet Champ is loving every minute of the love and spoiling he is getting

  5. Happy birthday handsome boy! You truly are a Champ! Rachel, I had a border collie mix who also had a brain tumor. She lived a very good life for almost two years after diagnosis. With the help of meds (Prednisone and anti-seizure medication) she remained seizure free for 16 months. Good luck to you both!

    • Champ is on meds as well and since being on his anti-seizure medicine he hasn’t had another seizure! I am so happy your dog had a good life and two more years after her diagnosis! It gives me hope that Champ could live comfortable/longer too! Thank you!

  6. Bless you, Rachel for taking such good care of Champ under such heartwrenching circumstances! Such a sweet face!

Virtual hugs to you and Champ!
