My seven year old Sheltie Bailey has just had surgery on his front wrist. Due to a previous injury and a genetic condition his foot rolled outward and he could no longer walk without pain. He had an arthrodesis surgery – or fusion of his joint. He will be in his cast for 8 weeks and he has been kenneled for the first week 24 hrs a day. There should be a positive outcome for him though. The goal is to have him waling again without pain.
Oh my, Sandy! Hugs Give him lots of cookies and keep us posted!
Cooper got a little cut under his eye and the vet made him wear a cone so he wouldn’t scratch it.
Poor thing looked like he lost some sheep and doesn’t know where to find them!
Being even cuter is one upside, Denise!
Daisy had to have emergency surgery 1 week ago to have very rapidly growing baseball sized cancerous tumor removed as well as a large fatty tumor. We are all very happy that she gets to spend Christmas at home. The Christmas tree wouldn’t have been as bright without her pretty face!!
I’m sorry this was late for Christmas Denise & Jenni, but I’m glad she is doing so well! :))
Poor Linus is recovering from foot surgery.
But only a Sheltie can make the dreaded cone look so good!
You betcha, Valerie! ;)
Even though she has to wear a cone, Sheba is still all smiles.
We are all smiles too Gina! :))
Riley was rescued from New England Sheltie rescue 7 years ago.
Now 12+ years old and occasionally itchy. :)
