ChuckBlueChuck & Holly are a big part of Sheltie Rescue of Maine.  They have a great mutual love for the breed and each others work.

Chuck:I agree, Holly is a Sheltie Saint! And I’m not just saying that because she’s my wife. She has a special place in her heart for all animals but this breed has just taken her breath away. She has done incredible work rescuing Shelties and finding just the right home for each and every one of them for the past 4+ years. She has touched the hearts of over 50 Shelties and they hers since she became involved in Sheltie Rescue.  It’s been a wonderful experience being part of it with her.

Sheltie Rescue is a passion of mine, but honestly, there is no way I could have done what I’ve done with out Chuck. The only problem with Chuck is – he would like to keep each and every one that comes through our door! He also pours his heart into each one.

Here’s a picture that I think says it all! Chuck hugging “Blue”. Chuck and I were visiting  Ann, a friend who adopted two Shelties from last year’s puppy mill.  Ann fenced in an acre of her yard for them!  They’re in the best home! Which is what’s it’s all about, and what makes Sheltie rescue so rewarding!

Chuck & Holly…thank you for all you do for the breed we love!
