Friends,
Once again I’ll be participating in “Strut Your Mutt,” a fundraising dog walk sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society. This year’s Strut is Saturday, October 12th at Liberty Park.
NOTE: For those of you who have heard my sales pitch, have generously donated in the past, and want to support us again, please skip down to the link below to donate. I am reaching out to new people this year so I need to add a few words about “Strut.”

I first started participating in Strut Your Mutt in 2007 with my first “mutt” Aggie. I quickly became sympathetic to their cause—you can click on the video below for a virtual tour—and have been participating ever since.

Along the way I have been blessed with help from some of the world’s most generous people….and you know who you are! In the subsequent years, I have been to Best Friends in Kanab, Utah many times to visit and, more importantly, volunteer my time. It’s such a wonderful place (as you’ll see in the video). I even placed Aggie’s remains there at Angels Rest, the final resting place for beloved pets that have crossed Rainbow Bridge.

I’ll try to resist the urge to drone on and on….the video is really insightful. I hope you’ll help us out with a few bucks (tax deductible, you know!) and for those of you on my Superstar Donor list for your year-in and year-out support, THANK YOU! You are rockstars.
Thanks (and “Woofs” from Tess),
Ken

Well done…
I have donated to Best Friends over the years… great cause.
Thanks, Ken and Tess. Bravo
Just sent in a donation.

Thank you so much, Gloria (a better thank you awaits in your email). It is truly a noble cause and I am lucky to have such great donors to support us.

This is wonderful of you Ken. I have been a Best Friends supporter for years, and last October my hubby and I volunteered there for 2 days. They have done wonderful work in animal welfare. Your Tess is so cute – I hope you have a successful strut!

Thank you, Sharon. I’m so glad you had the opportunity to visit and volunteer. I have met people from literally around the world who go to Best Friends to visit and volunteer…and, of course, to visit Utah’s scenic national parks.:)
