Timmy's Lil' Buddy - Our Joy and Peace

Buddy came to us as a pup to be a pal for our Sheltie Timmy. It turned out the other way around. Buddy LOVED his Timmy, and rarely left his side as a pup. They have always been together until now. He was born on the 4th of July – but terrified of fireworks and loud noises. We cuddled him a lot through the years during storms and thunder and his birthday . . . because for some reason people love fireworks then:). But oh was he our therapy in return! We dubbed Buddy our ‘peace dog’. He would hide somewhere or sneak off to himself if we ever raised our voices for any reason. What an amazing reminder of how we should be. He kept us straight. Buddy was also ALWAYS full of joy. The bounce in his step would make you smile on the worst of days. And he was the one to meet us at the door every.single.day. Barking and dancing and wanting hugs. We will miss that so much. Buddy did not pass his therapy dog test along with his brother being a little more introverted. He needed his alone time, and had his spots and ‘bedrooms’ throughout the house. What a special special member of our family. We can’t replace him, and will always remember him . . . his angel wings came suddenly and unexpectedly, and he is so missed.
Rest in peace and enjoy your play dates with other angels ‘lil Buddy. We love you.

Candles left in memory of Buddy

  1. Isabella says:

He sounds so remarkably sweet. Born the same year as my sweet Lucky who now is also gone…
I hope they meet at the Rainbow Bridge…. and maybe we will see them there.

  2. SJ says:

Buddy sounds so much like my Reggie. My heart breaks for you, as I know the pain you are feeling. Hope all our angel babies are having a good romp over the Rainbow Bridge.

  3. Cheryl Taylor says:

He’s beautiful. So sorry he’s gone. I still cry over mine 10 years later. They are such sweet dogs. I know you have lots of sweet memories – hold onto them and enjoy them.

  4. Jean Turanski says:

    RIP sweet soul.

  5. Sandy Humphreys says:

So sorry for your loss. I would like to think our Rosco was there to meet him st the bridge.
