Thanks for sharing your beautiful Ginger with us. I just read that this precious one passed away right after her birthday. I know you are so sad. She was so blessed to have you as her parent and to have received so much love and good care. I am sure she was very happy living with you. Again, my heart goes out to you as you remember this angel.
Thank-you all so much for all your wonderful comments.
We lost Giner 2 days after her 15th Birthday… our hearts are breaking…. but were so blessed to have had her in our lives… she was one of a kind and had the most loving soul…. she was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside……missing her more than words can say. But keeping her with us in our hearts forever!
God Bless you and your family, Robin. So very saddened to hear this. It is true – she will remain with you in your hearts for the rest of your lives – for how could they ever really leave us? They are our children with fur.
Robin, thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet Ginger. She’s touched us all with her beautiful, gentle and loving demeanor — Know she was exactly like that ‘in real life’. Such a hard loss, but she’ll remain in all of our hearts. I’m so glad she had you.
Oh my Ginger, what big eyes you have!! The better to will your mom to do your bidding, I’m sure. What a serene and beautiful face on this sweet senior. Happy Birthday and enjoy each and every day, Ginger and Robin.
Ginger must have a long tale of stories to tell with such a long life. What a blessing to have the opportunity to spend all that time with such a wonderful sheltie. Lucky Robin!
My Ahhh moment for today..What a beautiful liitle face Ginger has, and love her name too! You have been blessed with fourteen years of love , fun and affection from this little furry friend of yours.Wonderful ! lol
Reminds me so much of my girls, Sable who travelled to the Rainbow Bridge at fifteen and my little Shandy at sixteen and a half. Brings tears to my eyes, I miss them every day. Wishing you lots more time with your precious girl!
Aw-w-w Robin, what a sweet, sweet spirit. Ginger is beautiful and just look how spry and inquisitive she still looks. Her age and beauty is a testament to the excellent care you have given her for her whole life. How lucky both of you have been to have been able to spend this time together. Wishing you many more with this gentle little soul. I only hope I look this good at 15!!
Ginger is a very pretty and petite little girl. Our Amanda will be 5 this upcoming June – it is our dearest wish that she still be with us at Ginger’s age. Our 1st Sheltie – Shugerr – would be 15 in May if she hadn’t passed-over to the ‘Rainbow Bridge’. (Of course, she lives-on in our hearts and daily in our memories.) Please give dear Ginger a fond pat and a smile from the Clifford family.

Such a sweet face. Ginger reminds me so of our beloved Sassafras who crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 12 – way too soon. I miss her every day.

All I want to do is give her a huge hug and kiss! I am sure she would prefer a cookie!
Robin, you are a wonderful owner to have 15 years with Ginger. She obviously very well cared for to have reached such an age. Many more years to come.
Thanks for sharing Ginger with us and giving us hope that our fur kids will live as long… and longer!
