St. Louis Sheltie Rescue: Gus

Gus is a lovable, 10-year-old tricolor male who came to rescue from a private home. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped and had a dental. Gus knows a couple of tricks like sit, paw and down. He walks well on a leash and has been trying to herd his foster sister in the backyard.

Gus crates well although he has the run of the house whenever his foster mom is home. He loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed—when you stop, he paws your hand or leg to get you to keep petting. He would do well in a home with at least one other dog.

Whether he is posing in the backyard or relaxing in his crate, Gus is always ready for some hands on loving. :)
