This is my fur baby Daisy Mae. She is 10.5 yrs old but having a lot of health problems lately. One of which is bad arthritis in her knees and a spinal issue that greatly hinders her walking ability. For years we’ve been visiting this part of the coast in Maine and in the past she could manage to walk down to the water by herself, but that hasn’t been the case for the last few years. With all her health problems lately, I wanted to take her down to the shore and let her bark at the little waves she loves so much. So I carried her a good 30ft down to these rocks just to snap one of these rare photos of her!

What a wonderful Sheltie mom you are, Sue!

She looks so happy!

Sweet photo. She looks very happy to be at the ocean. Nice comment about carrying her down. Been there, done that. My Shelties have all been cared for selflessly especially when they had problems. They deserve everything wonderful we can do for them. They give us sooo much.

She is beautiful Sue! A precious time. I will be praying she feels better and enjoys all her days, and they will be many:). Our Timmy, who is almost 12 has had liver/gall bladder issues this last year and it has been hard. I want so much for him to have a good life, and am working hard toward doing just that. I understand where you are, and we love love love our Shelties!

Just love her sweet face! The expression just melts your heart!

My heart goes out to you with her health issues. My boy has similar issues.
Although hard on you and her the joy of living life to the fullest daily makes our heart comforted! You are indeed a great mom! Blessings to you!

Wishing you both many happy days together!
