My little girl Jilly Roo is 16 years old. She has a brain lesion, grade 3 heart murmur and a mass on her gallbladder. With all of that she is still a sweet girl. I had to give her a bath and that tired her out. She fell asleep in my arms. It was a moment I had to capture. Her smile was so special. She will never leave me.

What a special moment, Theresa. Thanks for sharing.

OMG, this photo and the sweet story behind it brought tears to my eyes. That look on her sweet face says it all: Love is all.

Theresa, you can just see and feel the LOVE and DEVOTION between the two of you in this special moment! Tears are running down my face! The most tender moment captured! PLEASE frame it! Gentle hugs to Jilly Roo. You are the BEST sheltie MOM EVER! I have never been blessed to have a sheltie live past 14. Love and blessings being sent to you!

Oh my this is so perfect and so heartbreaking. The night before my Amazing Grace was called home I gave her a bath and wrapped her in her fluffy white towel. I sat with her watching her sleeping so peacefully and safe in my arms. Every day I see her sweet face. You’re so right, they never leave us. Thank you for sharing this moment with us. Your sweater looks like a night sky full of stars!
