Seamus

Seamus picked us. When my husband and I arrived to pick out a puppy, we were sitting in a room with several pups, and one came over to us, and would not let any others get near us. He decided he was going with us, and that was it!

He loved to play; he was a great retriever, and he loved to tug with us. We knew something wasn’t right when he no longer could play for more than a couple minutes. But as he played less, he became more of a companion. He stayed with me for most of the day, everyday, and he got me through some dark times. And when it was time to release him from the pain he was experiencing, I knew it was the least I could do for my buddy. I miss him, but I have wonderful memories, and I’ll see Seamus and my other fur babies one day.
