Penny: NJ Sheltie Rescue

Pennyrescue Hi my name is Penny!  I am a very pretty sable Sheltie, about 2-3 years of age and I need a home.   I have tons of energy and a performance home would be perfect for me.  I need a job, so someone who is into agility or herding or even jogging would be awesome!  I am so intelligent that I learned to sit in one training session.

Although I can be shy at first, I’ll warm up to you & want those wonderful belly rubs that are SO enjoyable.  Unfortunately, the cat I reside with right now has decided I’m her enemy, so due to this (and it wasn’t my fault), I don’t like cats.  I will be fine as an only dog, but do get along okay with my foster brother and sisters, so if you have another dog, that works for me! 

Penny2I definitely require a fenced yard and I’d be best with no young children under the age of 14.  I walk nicely on a leash (I love to walk!!!I) but need someone willing to give me a couple of weeks to just “be” and take my time to trust them.
