Shelties & lure coursing…try it, but no cheating!
"Here is Autumn at one of her Lure Coursing practices. She loves to chase that Lure! The only problem is that the Herding breeds are so smart that they try and get in front of the Lure to try and head it off. Unfortunately that’s considered cheating in competition. Oh well, she still tries her best." Autumn in her racing blanket. RUN AUTUMN RUN…PASS THAT AUSSIE!!!FASTER!!!Pay off! I got that Lure!Looks like fun, Lisa!

Poochini, perhaps????
Just before Christmas, Sheltie Nation member Jean, of Mission, B.C. Canada adopted a 12 year old deaf Sheltie, Belle, from a rescue organization. She captured this picture quite by chance, with a simple point-and-shoot camera. The combination of a beautiful sunrise, early morning frost on the straw, and Belle’s coloring combined to create the halo-effect around her. Calling it “The Singing Sheltie” as she is quite convinced she was trying out for the opera – Poochini, perhaps????
