My dear little girl had to leave us in April. She came to us as a “rescue” but she rescued my heart and brought us all love and joy. A clown, a guard for squirrels and the garbage truck, the chaser of the squeaky duck, and a wet nose and warm heart that gave us more love and comfort than I thought possible.

But the day came when we had to say goodbye. I cried as you slipped away, but knew you were in peace and no longer in pain. I miss you every day, my little Fluffer-nutter.
