Our Baby Girl, forever in our hearts

Cheyenne came to us the day after Thanksgiving, 2006, covered in fleas!! She was barely 8 weeks old, and we didn’t know what to do because all the dog shampoos said not to use on young dogs. We ended up giving her a bath with a little bit of Dawn dish liquid. Poor little girl!! She was so tiny she fit in a coat pocket!! Cheyenne didn’t bark or make any sounds until she was almost 7 months old. We thought maybe she wasn’t going to be a noisy sheltie. Boy were we wrong!! LOL I eventually taught her to “sign”; Oh Christmas Tree was her favorite song. We will miss her deeply, and her daddy says no new dog, right now, so I’m holding my breath, hoping we can adopt another baby soon!! We love and miss you, Cheyenne!! We will see you when we get to the Rainbow Bridge!!!

I feel your loss,,,Maxwell went to Rainbow Bridge in 04/17. Still cry over him.

Thank you, Elaine. It has been very difficult. My husband still won’t talk about it. Hopefully soon he will begin to heal.
