Even though you had been sick recently we were not expecting you to pass away today. Our hearts are broken and 8 years was not enough time with you. We are so grateful for those 8 years! We love you and will miss you but at least we are comforted by the fact you are now in Heaven with your Sheltie brother Champ. We love you baby girl!

I know losing Katie after only 8 years has to be traumatic. Nothing can prepare you.
The comfort of her memories with you over those years will sustain you until you are reunited.
