Mercedes was the most beautiful creature I ever saw. She was smart too, funny, gentle with children and kind to older folks. She was small and fast, just like my 560SL. She was my best friend and confidante. She was Mercedes, my precious beloved Sheltie.
Mercedes contracted Cryptococcosis and fought this terrible disease until she could fight no more. I let her go on Friday, October 13, 2017. Mercedes is no longer in pain; she is at peace. She has left a great hole in my heart and I will never forget her. She was the best!

I am so sorry about the loss of your sweet Sheltie Mercedes. Shelties really are wonderful dogs. So loyal and loving. I used to have three and fostered two. Blessings to you and your girl.
Melinda, bless you for your candle. Yes, Shelties are angels, even when they are naughty. We have had 7 Shelties now, always in twos, except our newest one, Missy. We are 70 years old now so one is the magic number. Each one was so unique, but they all had those wonderful Sheltie qualities that we love.
Now she and her brother Harley are together again, playing at the Bridge until you are together again. What a great day that will be. Condolences on your losses…shelties never leave our hearts. ???

Beautiful! So sorry for your loss. My sheltie gained his wings 6/12/20. His name was Max and had all those qualites! Shelties are the best!
