Timmy was love in action, all the time

There are not enough words . . .
a part of our family and a best friend to me.
From day one, Timmy was a born entertainer . . . this was his given nickname at 9 months during obedience training. He simply LOVED people, children, and bringing joy and laughter to both.
He was given to me as a gift when my boys started leaving the nest so I wouldn’t be alone, and he so filled that role. He was a tangible picture of God in my life . . . always loving, always a comfort, and always there.
Timmy’s sense of fun and silliness as a pup brought so much joy. His favorite game was chase . . . how many times did we circle that kitchen table laughing? These last weeks, the game was slow, but sometimes he still would try.
And he just loved being with his people. We rarely left him behind, and he traveled with us everywhere. Mountains, beaches, hiking, boating, canoeing . . . he wanted to be right there with us, all.the.time.
As a registered canine good citizen therapy dog, his companionship brought hope and love to others. This is what he was born to do, and he did it well.
When his health prevented him from serving, Timmy continued to provide comfort to me and Joey through so many hard times. To us he was already an angel, but he decided it was time to truly fly. Our hearts are heavy and have a tremendous hole as we had to let him take on his wings.
Rest in peace Timmy. You lived your life’s purpose so well, and we will miss you forever. <3??

Inspirational testimony. Your love for him is clear, they’re love and dedicated partnership is boundless.
Thank you for your courage in coming forward at such a difficult time.
Without sounding selfish I too lost my Sapphire a blue Merle in March to acute diabetes Ketoacidosis, at 8 years and then my 11 year old Winston died of renal kidney failure on Sept, 1st.
Oh, how I miss them both.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

    • Paige Thomad says:

Tim I am so sorry you lost both of your furry friends. We also lost Timmy’s younger brother Sept 2018 from a mass on his spleen. It was such a shock.
I understand your loss and pain and wish you comfort and peace??
