Adopt a Sheltie
Mid-Florida Sheltie Rescue: Shep
Meet Shep. He would really like a home for Christmas. It is a very sad day for his family as they have lost their jobs and their home. They realize the only fair thing to do is to allow him to go to a home that is able to care for him for the rest of his life. Let's try to make that happen for him! Shep is a very sweet sweet boy. He is a little over weight at 30 pounds, but he is not a big boy. He is easy going, respectful other dogs and does not mind [...]
NJ Sheltie Rescue: Jenny
Jenny is a spunky 10 year old who came to NJ Sheltie Rescue in August via the Lancaster Humane Society. At that time she was quite chubby from improper diet and needed TLC to get her coat and teeth back in condition. She was given the proper update on shots, had a much needed dental cleaning. As of November she has lost quite a bit of weight (12 pounds !!) is getting her girlish figure back and her coat is absolutely gorgeous. There's nothing "old" about this girl. She loves playing fetch with her favorite ducky toy and enjoys walks [...]
Missouri Sheltie Rescue: Dusty
We've got a little shy guy available for adoption from Second Chance Sheltie Rescue in St. Louis, MO. that we'd love to share on Sheltie Nation! Dusty came into rescue in late April from a hoarding situation. Dusty’s history is not one of physical abuse, but better defined as neglect. He is on the road to recovery. Dusty is 3 years young, weighing in at 13 pounds, neutered, chipped, his rear dew claws have been removed and he has an awesome set of teeth. He is up to date on all vaccinations. Dusty is described as shy, but curious. Innocent, but mischievous. Cautious, [...]
NJ Sheltie Rescue: Riley

He is a seven and half year old who's mother was a Sheltie and no one is sure what breed the father was. Riley is a sable and white neutered male who is about 28 pounds and medium in size. He does have many characteristics of a Sheltie (head, markings, body) but he has a smooth (short) coat. He was well taken care of and enjoys going for walks and/or runs. He is housebroken, up to date on shots, micro chipped, and [...]
