We've got a little shy guy available for adoption from Second Chance Sheltie Rescue in St. Louis, MO. that we'd love to share on Sheltie Nation! Dusty came into rescue in late April from a hoarding situation. Dusty’s history is not one of physical abuse, but better defined as neglect. He is on the road to recovery. Have you ever wanted a Sheltie but wished for one with short hair? Look no further! Meet Riley. He is a seven and half year old who's mother was a Sheltie and no one is sure what breed the father was. Riley is a sable and white neutered male who is about 28 pounds and medium in size. Cute Therapy!
Daphne wanted to do something to "pay it forward" after being adopted, so she and I became a therapy team and a READING PAWS team. We visit with children in an elementary school and Daphne listens to them read. She just loves it! Hugs to you for adopting her, Mary!
